We have two exciting programs coming up at the library for the over-13 crowd.
Thursday, September 22 at 7 pm join us for a free lecture led by fashion historian Pamela Grimaud. She will discuss what made the 1960s such a dynamic period in fashion and reveal a few of the key trends. It’ll be up to you to decide which ones have endured the test of time!
Wednesday, September 28 at 2 pm join us for an origami workshop led by Indra Singh of Papier Japonais. Learn some basic folding techniques and find out why this age-old art form is gaining popularity once more and why.
Registration is required for this workshop. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. The fee covers your materials for the workshop. Register today and don’t miss your opportunity to join in all the fun
