The Community Art Space is an exhibition area located in the non-fiction section of the library which provides an opportunity for individuals and local groups to share their work with the numerous people who visit the library. We look forward to seeing exhibitions of artwork that are accessible to all ages and that will surprise, captivate and engage visitors.

If you would like to have an exhibition in the Community Art Space please download and fill out our call for submissions form and return it to the front desk of the library.

The works of Connie Abramovitch

Until April 23, 2017

Connie Abramovitch has a passion for watercolour, something she discovered after trying her hand at a number of mediums once enrolled in formal painting classes at the Saidye Bronfman School of Fine Arts.  Her teacher taught her that the fundamentals where learning how to draw and if you have the opportunity to visit her exhibit, you’ll see what an exquisite eye she has for detail! Her love and fondness of nature is beautifully conveyed in this masterful collection of paintings. Don’t miss out!
