The Community Art Space is an exhibition area located in the non-fiction section of the library which provides an opportunity for individuals and local groups to share their work with the numerous people who visit the library. We look forward to seeing exhibitions of artwork that are accessible to all ages and that will surprise, captivate and engage visitors.
If you would like to have an exhibition in the Community Art Space please download and fill out our call for submissions form and return it to the front desk of the library.

The works of Linda Freeman
Until May 28, 2017
Linda Freeman worked as a medical technician at the Montreal Children’s Hospital for almost forty years. It was quite the departure when she began taking up painting. Linda joined a Wednesday afternoon class, and fell head over heels with the endless possibilities this medium allowed her. She has been happily pursuing this passion for the last five years. Stop by and take a look this collection of artworks featuring the fruits and labour of her Wednesday afternoon class. Enjoy!
