You can join the library for free if you live or own property in the City of Cote Saint-Luc.

I live in Côte Saint-Luc

Membership is free. Bring in your driver’s license. Don’t drive? Bring in picture ID (medicare card) and a recent utility bill with your name and address on it. Children aged 13 and under need the signature of a parent to register for a card.

Your library card is valid for 2 years from the date you join.

I own property in Côte Saint-Luc

Côte Saint-Luc taxpayers are eligible for a free library card with your driver’s license and a City of Côte Saint Luc Property Tax Bill. Only the taxpayer may register for a card.

Join the library for $10 a year. Bring in your latest report card, student ID or a letter from school and your Medicare card.

I live in Hampstead

Join the library as a non-resident but keep all of your receipts. Hampstead has a rebate program that you can benefit from. Here’s the site where you can find out more.

The annual non-resident membership fees are:

  • $175 for adults
  • $100 for children, teens and seniors
  • $300 for families (5 members of the household)

I live in Montreal West

Bring in proof of Montreal West residency and join at the following rates:

  • $50 for Adults
  • $25 for seniors
  • $10 for children and teens
  • $80 for families (5 members of the household)
  • Free for children who attend school in Côte Saint-Luc.

I live on the island of Montreal

Join the library no matter where you live on the island. Membership is available for all residents on the island of Montreal.

The annual membership fee is:

  • $175 for adults
  • $100 for children, teens and seniors
  • $300 for families (5 members of the household)


Video membership club

A one-year family video membership is a great addition to your normal library membership. Enjoy tons of great films, documentaries and TV shows.

Club fee is $25 and includes all members of the household aged 13 and over.

Lost or Stolen library card

Let us know as soon as possible.

Cards may be replaced for $2.00. You’ll also be asked to provide identification.
