Suggest a purchase

The CSL Public Library is committed to purchasing items that are popular, relevant and interesting to its users.  If you do not see an item in the catalogue that you think the community would enjoy please use the form below to let us know.

Please be aware that your suggestions will be evaluated in accordance with the library’s collection development policy and only newer items will be considered. The library reserves the right not to purchase suggested titles.

If an item is older than one year, it may be borrowed from another library through our Inter-library Loan Service.  Please ask at the Reference Desk.

You will automatically be placed on hold for items if your suggestion was accepted.

Please do not suggest:

• Popular and bestselling authors, the library will be purchasing these anyway. Please check the catalogue periodically to see if the item is on order and add your name.
• Items that will be published beyond one year from the current date.

Suggestions for eBooks and downloadable audiobooks should be placed using cloudLibrary.

Please, also note that if you are suggesting a TV series, you will only be placed on hold for the current season.
