The Community Art Space is an exhibition area located in the non-fiction section of the library which provides an opportunity for individuals and local groups to share their work with the numerous people who visit the library. We look forward to seeing exhibitions of artwork that are accessible to all ages and that will surprise, captivate and engage visitors.

Artist Statement

Gordon Kadonoff’s latest passion is “Digital Abstract Art”. Each and every photograph is original and unique. It is where Photography meets Modern Art. Digital Abstract Art is generated in the computer, no camera involved. My canvas is the computer, my brush is the mouse. I hope you will enjoy them.

For the past 20 years, Gordie has been travelling the world following his passion of photography. Without formal training, but with a keen eye for detail and creativity, he has selected his most prominent photographs from his private collection. The selections include:
