Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between emotion, color, and the natural world. Rooted in abstraction and inspired by nature, my paintings emerge from a deeply intuitive process. I often begin with a feeling—an emotional landscape—and allow color to guide me.
Music plays an essential role in my creative process. The rhythm and mood of a song often influence the gestures, layers, and textures I create on the canvas. I work with acrylic paint and various spatulas, experimenting with texture and form.
My aim is to evoke a sense of presence—whether it's calm, vibrant, or contemplative—inviting viewers to feel rather than interpret. Each painting is a conversation between the external world and my inner life, a reflection of what moves me, and what I hope might move others.
